Best Body Moisturizers

(Last Updated On: September 27, 2018)

There are 1001 body moisturizers on the market today. But what makes a body moisturizer stand out from all the other body moisturizers? It has to have special features and ingredients that no other body moisturizer will offer. It should be a popular body moisturizer with thousands of reviews written about it. More positive reviews are always better than negative reviews. This shows the product is a high-quality one.

It needs to be a body moisturizer that will retain the natural skin barrier of the skin. It should be able to be applied to any skin type. People should feel refreshed and their skin hydrated after using the moisturizer. The moisturizer should leave the skin feeling soft and looking fresh. The moisturizer should not close the pores nor should it aggravate dry and flaky skin. If someone is fighting a skin rash or condition the moisturizer should not aggravate but it should minimize the skin problem. If it contains organic or natural ingredients this would be helpful. If it did have commercial ingredients in it that were safe to use on the skin this would be fine as well. The company behind the moisturizer should be a reputable company and have an excellent customer feedback record.

Puracy Organic Hand & Body Lotion

Benefits and Uses: This is supposed to be a fourth-generation formula. One of the ingredients has been replaced to make the moisturizer more effective. It is good for all skin types and it can be used once to moisturize the body and it only needs to be applied once and it can be applied even after washing. It leaves no greasy residue and it penetrates the skin deeply to give an extensive hydration to the skin.

Supposedly, it has been developed by doctors for advanced hydration and moisturization of the body.

Feedback: This customer is a self-proclaimed lotion expert. Her mom and grandma preached lotion yourself often. She has been using body lotions since she was so young she could not put the lotion on herself. She is now in her mid 60’s so it has been awhile. She says her skin looks and feels smooth after all these years. She listened to her mother and grandmother. She says she puts lotion on her skin right out of the shower and once before bedtime. She muses as to whether this is too much or not.

Her skin is still soft, supple and smooth. She has used many lotions ranging from the top of the top to using her own mixtures. This brand has stolen her heart and she says she loves the product. The pump is easy to lock and unlock she says. It applies easily and even on her skin. I wonder if this written review is a paid review because it sounds like the person has been paid to write the review.

This person says this is the best of the best lotions. It has organic ingredients and that in itself makes it a good product. The customer says it is the lotion of lotions and they will use no other lotion. It has changed their life and their skin. They don’t care what you do with the money you have. They did not write the review to try and convince you to buy it. They are just telling the “Amazon” community how this product has improved their quality of life. Why would this customer write this review if they were not trying to get people to buy the product? They are trying to get people to buy the product or they would not rave about the product. This too seems like a paid review the company paid this customer to sell the product.

This is a heartfelt review with sincerity oozing out of it. The person is a post-cancer patient and is getting away from all commercial products that could cause cancer or are a threat to small animals in their opinion. They say the cancer epidemic is out of control in this country. They use only natural products as was mentioned above. They researched the product and decided to try it. This was the only product that got rid of the black spot eczema had left on the skin.

It seems to me that there is a little bit of an exaggeration going on about how many products can really cause cancer and really harm small animals. The customer is genuinely trying to write a review to help other people. They said they are dark-skinned and they need to only apply the product every 24 hours. The other day they were so busy they did not bathe for 36 hours as this product kept their body odor in check. It works well for them. But it is hard to comprehend that someone could go 36 hours without bathing and not have some type of body odor whether they used this body moisturizer or not.

This customer has nothing to lose in writing this review. This is the type of review that tells it like it is. They say do not buy this product because they changed the ingredients and took some of the good ingredients out. The new formula stinks and this was a deal breaker for the customer. They loved the old product because it smelled nice and left the customer’s skin feeling moisturized.

The customer is very disappointed that the company changed the product and ruined it. They will not be a returning customer and they will no longer buy the product. The customer is basically saying the company ruined the product. The customer had two pictures of the new product and the old product. The new product had a different top then the new product. The actual product has a different coloring as well. The pictures from a distance looked like they could be different products. I scanned the ingredients in both containers and sure enough, they did change the ingredients on the new product. This customer did their homework.

Hempz Original Herbal Body Moisturizer

Benefit and Uses: It contains ingredients that will soothe and calm the skin. It almost sounds like they are implying the product may calm and soothe some severe skin conditions. It has vitamins that will protect the skin from environmentally and naturally produced toxins which is an unusual benefit. I am not sure there are a lot of environmentally produced toxins that can damage the skin. It helps the skin feel and look fresher and it gives the skin deep hydration.

Feedback: The customer never tried hemp seed oil before so they were intrigued by the product. It smelled sweet to them. Their hands felt softer the next morning after they tried the product the night before. They kept smelling their hands and they really like the product. They bought the small size which is perfect to bring on an airplane for traveling purposes.

The customer says they would rather pay $10.00 for this product than pay $20.00 for the product in a beauty salon. Besides, they claim if you buy a couple of products on Amazon you will get free shipping. This lotion is the best lotion on the market in this customer’s opinion. The product along with other products will help to reduce fine lines on the face. This is just after one use the customer claims. The customer believes there are two specific ingredients in the product that make it so effective.

This loyal customer has been using the product for 5 years. At that time it was given to them as a gift and they had never heard of the product. They will use nothing else but this moisturizer. It is cheap on Amazon and if bought from T.J. Maxx but it is more expensive if you buy it in a grocery store. It goes on lightly and it feels very smooth on the customer’s skin and it hydrates the customer’s skin very well. They tried another product that felt too thick and pasty on their skin. They will not be switching products anytime soon. 5 years is a long time to use one product and the customer obviously likes the product.

This is an eye-opening review. This person used this lotion twice with no problem. They liked the smell and decided to buy a bottle. They started using the product and they began to have an allergic reaction on the skin that began after they arrived at work. They thought maybe their lab coat was causing the problem. They noticed that they began to breakout where they applied the lotion. The more lotion they put on the worse the reaction became.

They noticed their arms and hands swelled and broke out in hives. The more the person used the product the worse the reaction became. They only used it 3 times. They researched some of the ingredients and found that out of the 35 ingredients 8 were very nasty and furthermore these ingredients were not organic as the company claimed they were. She advises not to use the product because you may have an allergic reaction as she did. It seems the company has been deceptive in listing organic products that are not organic on the ingredients list. This is a case of a blatant false advertisement and can the company be trusted as they are deceptively listing products that are organic that are not. The customer also said they liked the smell of the product but they will not be using it again. They did not want to see what the next stage of the reaction would have been. It is safe to say that after they stopped using the product the allergic reaction on her skin had stopped.

The customer likes the smell of the other two products made by this company they are all the same products but they have different smells. The husband really likes the product because he has had an itchy back for months. This lotion has really helped the itch. The wife likes the lotions but this one particular scent she cannot stand it is too overwhelming for her sense of smell. This is her complaint that the smell is awful but the product works great.

Another customer liked the pomegranate scent but at first, the scent was not to their liking. They got used to it and could use it. They tried the original scent and they just could not stand the smell. They said it smelled bad as in it was a nasty smell. They could not get used to the original scent. This is the second customer that has complained about the scents of these products smelling really bad. The company may want to consider improving the scents of their products. If they don’t they could lose a significant customer base.

Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer

Benefits and Uses: It even is supposed to stop breakouts. This is a potent moisturizer if all these benefits are true. Most moisturizers will soften and smooth the skin not stop the signs of aging or prevent breakouts. It works on the problem areas like the forehead, under the eyes, and the neck. It is claimed to be a miracle formula which I highly doubt it is.

The company gives the customers a generous amount of product in a large bottle. The product has been rigorously tested to prove its effectiveness and it is never used on animals. You see animals do not need to have their fur moisturized. They don’t worry about the signs of aging. The company offers a 90-day full money back guarantee if the product does not meet your standards for satisfaction.

Feedback: The customer says the product was not given to them for free to write the review. They claim they never get anything for free. The product has tightened their skin and reduced the size of the pores. This seems like a genuine positive review with no strings attached for the customer to get any benefits from writing a positive review. This product was an absolute disaster for this one customer. She used it and she had a severe breakout of acne on her forehead. She posted an image and her forehead was covered in acne.

O'Keeffe's Skin Repair Body Lotion and Dry Skin Moisturizer

Benefits and Uses: The product absorbs quickly into the skin and is supposed to keep the skin hydrated for 48 hours. It assists in preventing flare ups associated with dry flaky skin. Now, tell me why would a body lotion not be safe for people with diabetes to use? The company is known for making dependable skin care beauty products, especially for dry skin types.

Feedback: The customer has dry hands during the day at work. This product moisturizes and regenerates the skin within a few minutes. The customer uses a different product made by the same company at bedtime. This customer recommends this product as a daytime moisturizer. This customer just had chemotherapy and tried the product for the itching on the arms and the chest. The product did not help the itching but it did seem like a good product otherwise for the customer. The client says it is easy to apply, unlike other creams.

Jergens Wet Skin Body Moisturizer Original Scent with Original Cherry Almond Essence

Benefits and Uses: The lotion works in conjunction with the body when it is most receptive to absorb the moisturizer right after a shower. No dry time before you get dressed all you have to do is dry pat the product with a towel and you are gone. Works with water on freshly cleansed skin to lock in the moisturizer. The company won an award in 2015 for the product. It is best if the product is used every day.

Feedback: The customer has sensitive skin and the skin needs to be moisturized a tough combination in the customer’s estimation. She tried other products on her legs after she shaved them and they left red bumps on the legs. She used this product on her legs after she shaved them. She had no irritation. She would like to see the company make a travel-size container.

Some semi-notable and notable brands of moisturizers have been reviewed in the article. Generally, the products seem to work well for people but there were one or two reviews for each product where the customer said the product made them breakout or it was totally useless. One product had a few complaints that the scents were awful I mean the people said the scents were stomach-turning. One researcher who used a product had a severe breakout from the product. She did some research on the ingredients and she found that 8 of the ingredients were very harsh and they were not organic as the company claimed they were.
