Best Concealer for Fine Lines and Wrinkles

(Last Updated On: August 15, 2018)

What must the ideal concealer be able to conceal? Well, for starters, they should be able to remove fine lines and wrinkles making the skin look vibrant and youthful. This means no matter what age you are when you apply this product you will lose the fine lines and wrinkles. People should walk up to you and say you look years younger what did you do? There are so many concealers on the market today but you must find the ones that stand out from the rest. It would need to be reasonably priced and it should contain ingredients that are conducive to your skin type. It would be able to blend well with your skin tone and it would not have adverse effects on your skin. A successful concealer will have a track record of helping hundreds perhaps thousands of people. It is always better if the product has more positive reviews written about it then negative ones. We want the reviews to be written honestly of course. But on the other hand, the negative reviews written about the product should be constructively written and contain valid criticisms, not petty complaints that have nothing to do with the benefits or the quality of the product.

Benefits and Uses: The product is designed to be an under eye concealer. It is supposed to give natural-looking coverage and it will reduce puffiness, fine lines, and dark circles. It has a broad spectrum coverage and the rating is SPF 20. These are the benefits the product description says the product will offer.

under eye concealer

Feedback: This customer claims that this is a heavy-duty eye concealer and it does not blend very easy they write. The customer says if you use light makeup elsewhere this concealer will look cakey and thick. It will show up very obvious this is what the customer says. The customer uses it to cover other obvious imperfections on the face. The customer says if you have sensitive skin the strong scent of this product will irritate the under eye areas. The customer does not know that just because a person has sensitive under eye area that the smell of the product will irritate the skin in those areas. The customer says if you wear light makeup it will look cakey and obvious this is not necessarily true either. The customer could have misapplied the product. The client will use up this bottle and they will not buy the product again. The customer gave it a 3-star rating which is odd based on the negative comment she made about the product.

This customer says this product is good for covering up light dark circles or ones that are temporary. But if you have permanent dark circles the product will not help you. The customer has permanent dark circles under the eyes. The customer also complains that the product irritated the eyes not harshly but enough for the customer to decide not to use the product anymore. The customer has been diligent to apply sunscreen to the face but not around the eye areas. They used sunscreen around the eyes but it ran into the eyes and irritated the eyes. She found this product and it has sunscreen protection so she has applied it around the eyes. The customer says if you do not want to use a concealer to protect the eyes from sun damage then you can find another product. The customer gave the product a 5-star rating. The male customer says the product covers under the eyes very well. It works well even if you do not have dark circles under the eyes. The customer does not have dark circles under the eyes. He does not care about having full coverage under the eyes and he loves the coverage under the eyes this product delivers. He loves the product and he rates it 5-stars. I am not clear why the customer is using the concealer under the eyes because he does not say why he is using.

The customer has been using the product for years and the customer uses it on other areas of the face beside under the eyes. The customer uses it on uneven places on the face (I am not sure what uneven places on the face means) and she says this happens when you hit your forties. The product is great to cover up spots over the makeup and the applicator is small enough that you can put the product on your finger. You can then apply the product with your finger.

Another 5-star rating review short but to the point. The client says they have a very red nose which I suppose is red from sunburn. This is the only concealer with SPF that the customer could find. It stays on their red .nose and it seems to work well for the client. The client does not say if they use the concealer on other areas of the ace though. The customer says that have panda eyes or in other words, they have very dark circles under the eyes. They have used the product for years and it is still working well for them. It applies smoothly and gives the right amount of coverage for the client.

Here is a negative review that is not really too harsh. The customer writes that it does not apply easily and it is a lighter shade than the customer was bargaining for. Another client said the product applied smoothly so maybe this client is applying the product unevenly and is putting too much on their face. The client rates the product 3-stars. I doubt the client will buy the product again. The review is mixed in that the customer was not thrilled with the product but the client still gave it a 3-star rating. These types of reviews can be confusing because you really don’t know if the customer likes or hates the product.

Perfekt Skin Perfection Concealer

Benefits and Uses: The product has the unique distinction of being able to conceal broken capillaries, under eye circles, blemishes and sun damage. The product is free of harmful chemicals and it is free of fragrance. It has ingredients to reduce the appearance of discoloration and skin blemishes.

Feedback: The customer’s aunt bought the product for the client a few years ago. Just a month ago the client ordered a new bottle of product. It lasted her all these years. She applies the makeup but then the skin will show certain dry spots in certain areas of the skin. She applies it just a little dab and it removes the dry spots. She says the product is wonderful and she really likes it. The customer rated the product 5-stars. The customer says the product is really not that good. It will feed into the creases in the eyelids even after the customer applies the setting powder on the product. It does not last very long only for a few hours. It doesn’t hide her blemishes very well so it does not really conceal like it is supposed to. The client writes that the product is ok but it really is not that good. It does not deliver the benefits it said it would. The client says they use it to cover lipstick slips. (The customer uses the concealer to hide the red color of the lipstick so there are clean lines where the slips were.) She was disappointed with the performance of the product but despite all these complaints the customer gave it a 3-star rating. I do not know if the customer will buy the product again or not. There are mixed signals being sent in this review. It is not certain if the customer likes the product or does not like it.

This is a perplexing review because in it the customer said the first time the product was ordered it was great. She says it covered the redness on her face and people would compliment her on how well her skin looked. She said just a little bit would go a long way. It covered the redness on her face then the trouble comes. She ordered a second tube and this tune was a bad batch she said. It was hard and a bit fell out of the tube in a ball. She thinks the product expired and she thinks she received a bad batch.

The concealer was cakey and crumbly and it was hard to even it out on her skin. Despite this bad batch of product, the customer said the product was a good concealer to use. The customer rated it 4-stars even though she had issues with the second tube of product. The customer said the product is great but the client was misled on the size of the tube. The customer thought they were ordering a full-sized tube but instead, she received a trial-sized tube and it was way too expensive for a trial-sized tube. The customer or the company who is at fault it is hard to say. The company may have deceived the customer into thinking they were getting a full-sized tube. Or the customer was not paying attention and bought the trial-sized tube by mistake. The client rated the product one-star.

conceal skin imperfections

The product is great and the consistency of the product feels right on the skin. But if the skin dries out then every crack, wrinkle, and fine lines will show up on the face even if you moisturize the face. The customer still gave the product a 4-star rating even after the product failed to conceal skin imperfections when the skin became dry. The concealer should be able to conceal the skin imperfections even when the skin is dry. The client did write that the product did give good coverage on the skin. The customer says the product is too thick for their taste and it does cover well. But it is too yellow and you have to blend it well to cover the yellow color. The customer likes that the product is less toxic than other products. The customer rated the product 3 stars.

The customer says they can apply a little bit of this product to the eyes then some gloss and they are set to go. It makes the skin glow the client writes. The customer rated it 5-stars. The customer read the reviews and was hopeful the product would work for them. They applied the product to the small dark spots and the capillaries and nothing happened. The product did not conceal these skin imperfections and the customer said this product is worse than cheaply bought drugstore foundation. The client rated the product one-star which is understandable since the product did not work for the client.

Covergirl Smoothers Moisturizing Concealer

Benefits and Uses: The product is a lightweight and it is free of fragrance. It is for fair skin tones and it will cover dark circles and other skin imperfections. The rest of the product description did not describe this product but talked about how Cover girl can do to meet all your makeup needs. It was irrelevant information it did not talk about any other benefits the product could offer.

Feedback: The customer has fair skin and freckles. They also have purple bags under their eyes. Their old product would not cover the purple bags and other products did not work either. They tried this product and it worked well to cover the purple spots under her eyes. It does not dry out the skin but one weakness it has is that it only works for a few hours during a normal workday. The customer has rated it 4-stars. This may be because the product was not last-longing as the customer would have liked. The customer ordered a second tube but is afraid to open it. The client thinks it was damaged in shipping but she needs to open it and find out if the package was compromised in shipping. Their current bottle is doing a good job covering dark circles and the client adds a light foundation to cover everything up. The concealer goes on her skin without feeling heavy.

The customer received the product and it was melted and it could not be used. The customer probably was disgusted with the product they received. I guess so since the client rated the product 1-star. You cannot blame them since they received a tube of product that was melted and it could not be used. This is not very good customer relations. The company’s customer service needs some fine tuning. The customer would have given a higher rating than 3-stars if the product matched their skin tone better. The customer says the shade would look good on clients with a pinker shade of skin. The customer said they are pale and have more of an orangish tint. This is weird that the client would say they have an orangish tint because humans do not usually have orange-tinted skin.

Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Concealer

Benefits and Uses: The product will conceal skin imperfections without the product caking, creasing or settling into the skin. It is water-resistant and has medium to full buildup and it will last 24 hours. It also is sweat, humidity and transfer resistance.

Feedback: The customer worked out in the yard for 2 hours and sweat up a storm. The client had put this concealer on and the concealer stayed in place even with all the sweat streaming down the customer’s face. The client says this concealer will not leave dark spots on the foundation. The client also says it is an expensive concealer but it is worth the price. The client is in their 70’s and lives in Florida which is hot all year round. The client tried this concealer and she really likes it because it conceals skin imperfections. According to the client, it makes her look years younger and she does recommend the product. The product says the smell of the concealer is not pleasant and it is very strong and it stays with you for a long time.

Boo-Boo Cover-Up Concealer

q? encoding=UTF8&ASIN=B00JV9TCSW&Format= SL250 &ID=AsinImage&MarketPlace=US&ServiceVersion=20070822&WS=1&tag=balancemebeau 20 - Best Concealer for Fine Lines and Wrinklesir?t=balancemebeau 20&l=li3&o=1&a=B00JV9TCSW - Best Concealer for Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Benefits and Uses: It is a light shade and while it conceals it will heal which is unusual for a concealer. It will fully cover facial and body skin imperfections.

Feedback: The customer says the product is not too heavy feeling or cakey looking. It has minimal creasing and it lasts through the customer’s work day. Other concealers will usually crease the customer’s skin within 30 minutes of application. The concealer works well for the customer and if the concealer does crease the client can fix it easily. The client takes her ring finger and simply blends it back into the skin and the ceases are gone.
