Best Foundation for Oily Skin
This is a popular subject to be discussing in the beauty and health world today. Apparently, there is a major problem among people using the wrong kind of foundation for oily skin. It makes all the difference in the world if you have excessively oily skin to pick the right foundation that will control the oil secretion in your skin and prevent you from breaking out. The last thing you want to do is apply a foundation that will allow oil to come through your makeup, make the skin break out with acne, and will not keep your makeup in place all day.
These are probably the three worst-case scenarios that could happen to a person. You are trying to look your best and you do not want any extra aggravation in trying to achieve that precious goal. There are right foundations that will work seamlessly with oily skin. Foundations that will control oil secretion and reduce and prevent acne or any other kind of skin breakout. The prices will probably be in a wide range from reasonable to way too expensive. But you know the old saying “You get what you pay for.” So the obvious conclusion is if you buy an expensive foundation it will work much more effectively for you than a cheaper costing foundation. Let’s hit the road and find the perfect set of foundations for oily skin.
Benefits and Uses: The product is certified to contain all organic products to keep the makeup set all day and your skin looking fresh and healthy. You can start with a light application gradually building to a stronger foundation if you prefer. You can use as little or as much as you want. It will feel great on the natural skin. I doubt it will feel better than your own living skin would feel though. The formula has a slight dewy hint to it. So it will not have a matte finish but it will protect your skin from the sun. It reflects the light from the skin and the skin imperfections are less visible. It is applicable for all skin types. It will even help oily skin types. It is made in America and the company will have no problem refunding your money if you do not like the product or the color of the foundation.
Feedback: This veteran is in her mid 60’s and she has tried a million different kinds of foundation. This one really works well for her. She says a little bit will cover her whole face. She has sensitive skin but this product works well for her skin. She uses the porcelain color which is good for her skin tone. The product inside the container looks too dark to be porcelain but it is. She says it covered her whole face easily and it hides d her blemishes. It feels very light on her face and she likes the product and the customer service the company has.
The customer almost sent the product back but she realized she was applying it wrong. She was layering it on her face too thick. A little bit went further on her face than she was used to.
She says she now likes the product and will purchase it again. It applies to the skin smoothly and she doesn’t have to use that much product as was stated before. It covers well for the customer and it stays set in the hot, humid Florida weather which is remarkable in the summertime. The customer was a little weary at first about using the foundation because it went on oily when she first applied it. She prefers a matte finish but to her delight, it dries to a matte finish. It has medium coverage and it works lasts for most of the workday. She will most likely buy the product again. He is a testimony because the customer says the product is very light and it is the only makeup they use now. They say it feels like they are not wearing the foundation because it is so light. They are pleased with the product and their skin is clear of acne.
She puts two coats of this stuff on. He put on an undercoat and then she adds another coat. She says she applies a premium primer as well. She will buy it again. She has used it several times now. This customer read one review and tried the product. The review said the customer loved the color it matched her skin tone well. This customer tried the product and liked it. She thanks the person who wrote the review that convinced her to try this foundation.
The customer thought the product would be a good match for her skin tone. She claims the chestnut color was too light to resemble the real color of a chestnut the color of the foundation that is. The customer thought it would be a good fit but it was not. It seems like the customer was being sarcastic when they complimented the company on being “inclusive” in pushing environmentally based products that not all women can use. This review is very elusive as the client did not really say why the product did not work for her. She gave it a one-star rating but she did not really explain why she gave it such a low-rating. She needs to be more specific in her criticism of the product. Otherwise, how is a customer supposed to know why she doesn’t like the foundation.
The customer needed a dark shade but this company does not make a foundation in a dark shade. She could not find the proper color match for her natural skin tone color. She gave it a 2-star rating so he was not too happy with the company.
Benefits and Uses: The product is free of scent and has no oil in the ingredients. It is supposed to keep pores clean and it will not clog them. It can be applied to the sensitive skin and it is non-acnegenic which means that the product is less likely to aggravate acne and it will not cause acne to develop on the skin. It contains ingredients that will not irritate the skin. It has been tested by dermatologists and the tests were not discussed. The results were not noted either. This type of oil control product will not clog pores and it will control the oil in the skin. It also has ingredients that keep the skin hydrated and prevent the skin from drying.
Feedback: This customer says she has tried 30+ foundations to try and find the right one that would not make her skin break out. She made no progress in this search. She also notes she spent a lot of money along the way to find the right foundation. She searched the internet and found this product. She gave it a try and it seemed to apply easily to the skin. It did not feel oily and she says it lasts all day. You can apply it twice if you need to. She checked her face and it was free of acne and she had no breakouts. She was so relieved to find her skin was clear. She may have found the right foundation after all this time.
This is not the most positive review that has been written about this product. The customer says that the product provides good coverage on hot summer days. The consistency is very thick and she can feel it on her skin. The packaging the product came in did not help the dispensing of the product. She claims she had to use a small spatula to get the product out. It is quite messy and uncomfortable to apply to the face. I doubt she applied the foundation with a spatula that would be very impractical. She used the spatula because the product was too thick to flow out of the bottle. She says it does what it says it will do because it does give good coverage and lasts a long time. If you are looking for these characteristics in a foundation then this is the product for you writes the customer. It also has a nice matte finish.
Another mixed review because the customer says the foundation is good overall. It is hard to get out of the bottle because there is no pump to dispense the foundation with. It is hard to get out you either pour it directly on the brush or the surface. It is easy to apply but it lasted only a few hours on the customer’s skin. Then it turned cakey and it made her pores look huge which no other foundation would do. Even when she wore no makeup her pores would not open up like this foundation made them open up. It is reasonably priced but she recommends a foundation made by Covergirl. I would be really surprised if she bought this foundation again.
Benefits and Uses: It is also free of oil and it will not cause the skin to produce excess oil. It will not proliferate acne and it has no harmful chemicals that will irritate the skin. It has been tested by dermatologists the company claims. No data is given about these tests. This could be a phony claim by the company that it was tested by dermatologists. There is no way to know for sure.
Feedback: This review defies the star rating the customer gave the foundation. She says it should have better coverage than it does and she writes it is a low-priced product that gives average coverage. Yet the customer gives the product a 4-star rating which really makes nos sense. She obviously did not think much of the product. The content of the review would reflect a two-star rating, not a 4-star rating.
This customer was pleased with the foundation and she said it did what she expected it to do. She did not write about what she expected it to do though. It would have been useful if she wrote down what her expectations were that were met. She writes that she is so glad she found for a reasonable price on Amazon. The client said she expected it to be a darker shade but it was more of an ivory shade. The customer doesn’t say whether this is an issue or not. She gives it a 5-star rating so apparently, the lighter shade was not an issue for her. The reasons for her 5-star rating would have been nice for customers to know. She gives absolutely no information on the rationale for the high rating. It is hard to put confidence in this high rating when a customer doesn’t know why it was given. For all, I know the customer could have gotten paid or received some perks for writing a semi-positive review for the company.
The client says the product is a bit thin but she compensates it with a powder. She applies it in the morning and it stays set until late afternoon. She says the product is adequate and she may buy it again. She did not rave about the foundation but she said it worked for her. She adds that the foundation will not smudge off on her clothes which is a definite benefit. This customer says the product is great and it keeps the skin smooth for a long time.
This is one of those very generic reviews because the customer doesn’t say much about the benefits derived from using the foundation. This is the extent of the review: “It does exactly what it says it will do.” Well, what is it supposed to do? A customer will most likely come along and not read the product description because the will go right to the heart of the matter and read the trending reviews. But this review tells the customer absolutely nothing about why the product worked for the customer who read the review. It does not steer the customer in either direction as to whether they should try the product or not try the product.
Benefit and Uses: It contains antioxidants and vitamins to help in the fight against the signs of anti-aging. It contains elements that absorb oil for the whole day. It leaves the skin with a matte finish.
Feedback: The customer has used this foundation for a long time. It is as close to perfect as perfect can be for her. She migrates to other foundations but she always comes back to this one. This is her go to foundation. The client is 58 years-old and read a few reviews before trying this foundation. She wanted it to freeze her imperfections show they would not be visible. She was going to use this under another foundation. She tried this foundation and it worked well for a few hours but after a few hours it began to pull her skin imperfections and make them show even more. This product did not work for her.
For this customer this product no better than a drugstore brand. S But she expected more from the company and their foundation. She would apply the foundation and it would melt away in 2 or 3 hours. She is so disappointed with this product she was expecting a lot more wear from it than she had.
Benefits and Uses: This is a vegan product so we know it will have all natural and organic ingredients in the formula. It gives full coverage and it makes the skin silky smooth and gives it a natural-looking finish. The ingredients are infused with key vitamins that keep the skin supple and moist not dry. It doesn’t keep the skin oily either. The product is gluten-free and cruelty-free. The fact that it is cruelty-free means the company will not apply foundation to an animals face to see if the animal’s fur will show larger pores or not. Also, the company will not put the foundation on the animal’s face and then put makeup on the animal over the foundation. The animals do not have to worry about how long the foundation will keep their makeup in place either.
Feedback: This customer uses natural beige to match her skin tone color. It covers from medium to light and it is gluten-free which she loves. She is gluten-free as well. All of her friends have bought the same foundation after they saw it on her. She really loves this product and she applies the natural beige color for people with fair skin but has a very slight olive complexion if that even makes sense. How can you be fair skinned and have a slightly olive complexion?
There you have it some detailed reviews on some foundations that will work for oily skin. They all seem to be solid products and there were some negative reviews but no one really knocked the product. Some of the customers did have issues with some of the products though. Others had good experiences with the products. Strangely enough none of the customers who wrote negative reviews said anything about getting their money refunded.
