Benefits and Uses: You can comfortably perform dumbbell and barbell exercises on this portable weight bench. It is equipped with an incline and decline option to be to enjoy either one of the exercises mentioned above. It has five starting positions you can angle body from a 10-degree negative decline all the way up to a 70-degree positive incline. That is quite a range to work with.
It comes with comfortable yet durable 1.75-inch pads that are coated with a powder finish that will keep your folding bench looking like new for a long time. It is a preacher curl assembly that has durable safety pins and bolts to make easy adjustments anytime you wish. The measurements are 18 by 17 by 54.5 inches and the unit comes with a three year warranty. It is reasonably-priced as well.
Feedback: The unit because it came exactly as it was pictured it was red and remarkably sturdy. She is 5’4 inches and she weighs 140-150 lbs. Her husband is 5’11 and weighs 210 lbs. She was concerned it might wobble as she lifted weights but her husband tested the weight bench and put any fears to rest. He was able to do presses on the equipment and it did not wobble at all it held up well under his 210 lb frame.
She did not like the fact that the instructions came in the form of a diagram which was not very helpful to explain how to use the unit. This was problematic for her because the bolts (the unit would remain stationary) and the pins (the unit would be folded up and stored) were put on the same diagram. Understandably, this could confuse someone who is not experienced at using a portable weight bench.
Another customer thought it was a bit small but it was of decent quality. They said the folding aspect was misleading. You could take out the pins and fold it up but not very well. The legs would still dangle and it is very impractical to set-up and then take apart to store after every workout.
This customer says they are not mechanically-inclined but they were able to put this unit together. The instructions were a joke though because they were not functional at all. The person had to look at finished pictures of the product to put it together. Once the consumer figured out to put it together it went together quite easily.
The person is short and says their feet dangle over the edge of the unit. There is too much wiggle room that causes the person to slide down the unit. They are still able to get their workouts done though. It fits neatly at the end of their king-sized bed. They still have room for a chair in the room. It folds up and he can put it in his closet. He says taller people would not benefit from this exercise unit because it is too small. It is designed for shorter people. He is able to do his sit-ups just fine on the unit. It is worth the price in his opinion.
This customer may have shot down the previous review that stated that this product is only for small people. The person weighs in at almost 300 lbs and says this product is small but sturdy and it works. They suggest other people try it. It is a bit narrow for them. The other customer is 5″2 tall and travels a lot. They are able to pack this bench into a 48″ inch duffle bag and take it with them when they travel. They use it at home as a temporary desk. They can sit on the incline and still have their head resting on the pad. They are using it as a traveling desk instead of a weight bench. Interesting using it for a function it was not designed to be used for.
Benefits and Uses: This charming piece comes fully assembled right out of the packaging. You do not have to assemble anything yourself. This could be quite convenient. It also has 7 adjustable positions to help you enhance your weight workout. It will help you to exercise more parts of the body. This is impressive it comes with a lifetime in-home warranty. This means it will cover everything for the life of the bench. A very generous warranty indeed and you will not find many warranties like this one. It is commercial-rated which may mean it is a very-high-quality portable weight bench. It has strong 2×3 oval tubing.
Feedback: This client is a big guy because he is 6’4 inches tall and weighs 250 lbs. This bench is the best his money can buy and it’s perfect for him. He needed something that would hold his weights and his body weight in place. He does free weights and barbell exercises on it. It is very sturdy and it will not wobble when he has 450 lbs place on it the weight includes the weights and himself. He exercises on it 3 times a week he no longer goes to the gym due to time constraints. It put right upstairs in his home and he is as content as can be. He has used it for a few months and it still looks brand new. He says he will use it for a long time
The customer is saying the unit is well-designed but built poorly. He said something about the seats being covered by cheap fake plastic. He thinks they will tear over time with wear. The other grievance he has is that tack holding the black seat fell out because the product had poor quality control conducted while it was being built. Doubtful he will buy the product again. It is uncertain how he can know the product is well-designed but poorly built. These observations do not connect because if something is well-designed it should be well-built as well.
He researched these types of product and by far this is the best one. He is pleased with his purchase. He is able to lift 65lb. dumbells on the carpet with no wobble this really impressed him. He also likes the fact, that he can rest comfortably on the cushion and backrest which is soft but durable. He likes the fact the weight machine has decline and incline positions which others did not.
He said the machine was well-built and he has no complaints about it. He could not understand why so many people complained about the spacing between the backseat and the seating that it was too much. He says it is needed because the backrest has to incline and decline and the spacing is not uncomfortable at all. He was so impressed with this bench press he bought a dumbbell rack from the same company. He is very pleased with this product as well. The unit folds up like an ironing board and is 9″ at the highest point. It has a handy handle at one end and wheels at the other end which make it very easy to transport.
One negative review states the customer is annoyed that the unit was shipped with the seat position and backrest are out of alignment in his opinion. He thinks this is due to poor manufacturing. His second complaint is that the seat is not adjustable but the back seat is. To him, it feels strange to workout on incline benches that are not perpendicular. The unit is sturdy he says which makes no sense when he says the overall manufacturing is poor. He will return the product. It is not clear if these are valid complaints or not.
Benefits and Uses: This product can hold up to 800 lbs of weights to workout on. A person up to 6″4 inches can comfortably use this unit. Set up measurements are 59″ by 231/2″ by 481/2″ You can adjust the backrest to 12 different positions if you use the adjustable 2 positions front leg adjustment. It can be folded and stored and the folded measurements are 51″ by 23 1/2″ by 9″.
Feedback: The customer waited 3 weeks to write his review of this product. He wanted to try it out before he gave an honest review. His wife and himself have been using the bench for 6 days a week. They are getting in shape for an anniversary cruise to the Caribbean. This guy is 5’10 inches and weighs 236 lbs. He can lay on the bench and perform sit-ups without his head dangling over the edge. He says it went beyond his expectations.
Also, he commented on the company’s excellent customer service. He pulled the bench out of the box and noticed the seat had a tear in it. He called customer service and told them what happened. He did not know if he tore the seat or not. The customer service rep sent him a new seat with no questions asked and told him to keep the old one for convenience sake. This is very good customer service.
Another customer says that he and the person he is working out with have not been aggressively working out on this weight ben They have been doing light abs exercises and sit-ups on it mainly. The like the 12 settings it comes with and it is very sturdy. The only complaint they have is that there is not enough padding where you place the feet. The temporarily put a piece of padding on the feet pad of the unit. They need to come up with a permanent solution to this problem.
They feel it is well worth the money spent. This customer says the bench is put together well and is sturdy. The padding is not the best but it is still sufficient for this customer. It is good for the money and it comes with an adjustable back seat which the customer was looking for, It also has foot bars for situps and the customer did not even know he wanted foot bars. The bench came assembled for the most part but the consumer had to do some minimal assembly so the unit could be used.
This customer is hard on weight benches. They use them for cardiovascular exercises and “box jumps” (you stand from the object you are jumping unto and jump unto the object from the floor) and they have gone through a few in the last few years. The needed a bench that would last a long time. This bench met the requirement and the customer has found exactly what they were looking for.
Benefits and Uses: It has a multi-bench to perform various dumbbell exercises. It has 7 adjustable positions that can be set to work out. You can do chest, shoulder presses, crunches and many other types of weight lifting exercises. This bench has more angles than the other benches have.
Feedback: This guy says it is not good for “hammer and chisel” workouts where he does a lot of jumping around. The bench is not wide enough for these types of workouts. But for traditional exercising and weightlifting, this customer says the bench works great. He says to can spend 1/2 hour using tools to put the unit together or get an Allen wrench hand put it together in five minutes.
This is not a valid criticism of this weight bench because it was designed for traditional workouts, not the kind of workouts he bought it for. He should have been aware that this was for traditional workouts and not the kind of “hammer and chisel” workouts he does. His workouts are designed to be done on specially made equipment, not the traditional weight bench.Another factor is most people do not engage in the type of workouts he does. So, most consumers would not be buying the product for this type of specialized workout.
This customer has had the unit for about 9 months and has let his friends and family use the bench. It seems like it is holding up good for the moderate to heavy use that he and others have put it through. He says it is a sturdy product built well to take moderate to heavy use.
Benefits and Uses: This unit has the distinction of being used for a full-body workout. You can tone the legs, shoulders, arms, abs, and any part of the body. It can be used in the home or at the gym. It is a versatile unit, to say the least. It has a powder-coated steel frame and deluxe white and black upholstery to set your body comfortably on. The foam is of a high-density nature and soft. Your body will be secured whether you are doing light or intense workouts. The back pad is very mobile and can be set to various positions to do several types of exercises on the bench. A nice feature of this unit is that it can be attached to a variety of other workout machines. The measurements are 52 by 25 by 46.5.
Feedback: This is not a good review. The customer bought it because the majority of the reviews on the product were positive. On the first attempt to perform a flat bench press the unit broke! It broke before the client unracked the weight; the customer went to push the bar off the rack the back support, on the bench, broke and his head went backward. This could have resulted in a harmful injury to the client. He says he may have received a defective bench but he cautions to stay away from this bench, This is very good advice to stay away from this bench. This client will not be purchasing this weight bench again.
