Best Sleeping Hammock Reviews
Are hammocks for sleeping or swinging? You know you can’t sleep for 8 hours on a hammock or can you? For sure you want a hammock that will hold your weight and swing well on a tree or whatever you tie it to hold it up. You can spend a wide range of money on a hammock but it all depends on where you are going to use it and how. For instance, if you live in Hawaii or a tropical environment like that you will want to purchase a lightweight hammock that will keep you cool in a hot climate . A place where you have a cooler climate you may want to purchase a hammock/sleeping bag or one that will keep you warm in a cold climate. You would have a great advantage of buying one of these hammock/sleeping bag over just a regular hammock. You can see the obvious; if you buy a combination hammock/sleeping bag you can double it like a hammock and a sleeping bag. So you have something to relax on during the day and sleep on it at night. You better believe you will pay more for the hammock/sleeping bag. You may end up paying over $100.00 or if you want a down sleeping bag/hammock then you will pay up to $170.00 dollars. The latter version of the hammock would be very good for camping either in the cooler higher elevations or if you go hunting or camping during the winter months.

WINNER OUTFITTERS Double Camping Hammock – Lightweight Nylon Portable Hammock, Best Parachute Double Hammock for Backpacking, Camping, Travel, Beach, Yard. 118″(L) x 78″(W)
Benefits and Uses: This is made of 210T fabric nylon which is capable of holding up to 200lbs. of human weight. The hammock will also hold two people and once you fit 2 people in that hammock it is said you will both fit comfortably. You can sleep with a friend or a loved one and be very comfortable. But you know how comfortable can you be in a hammock it still seems like the room for 2 people would be limited. You can use the hammock in the yard, campground, or anywhere you can tie the hammock between 2 objects.
It is easy and quick to set up because all you to do is use the installation items that come with the hammock. It should take about 3 minutes to completely put the hammock together and then hang it on two objects. The company suggests you give to someone as a gift but I do not know if I would want to receive a hammock as a gift. If you are a camper, backpacker, backyard dweller, or just need a place to relax then this hammock is for you. If you are a traveler this could be the hammock for you even though I do not know how you would use the hammock when you are traveling. The company gives you a warranty you maybe cannot turn down. If you are unhappy with the hammock then you can get a money-back guarantee on it. The company says you can keep the hammock with no questions asked. This is a very good benefit if there is no catch to this warranty.
Feedback: The customer says the bag that holds the hammock is sturdy or the hammock itself is sturdy. The hammock hangs very well and stays in place. The issue the customer had with the hammock is that the carabiners were in poor condition because one was scratched and the other one was bent. One of the nylon ropes was frayed and it looked like it had been used. The equipment came out of the plastic bag like it was brand new. The customer wanted to know why the parts or the hammock had been returned if that is what really happened. The customer cannot prove the hammock or the parts to it had been used.
The customer writes the company needs to have better quality control with the products they ship in the future. The company saw his post and they contacted him. They gave him 2 options either keep the current hammock and get his money back. The other option was to buy a brand new hammock for free so the customer chose the latter of the options. The company sent him a coupon to acquire a new one for free. The company received his request for a new one and they sent it to him. The customer received the new hammock and it was in great condition and the customer rated the product 5-stars because the company responded so quickly to his complaint. He said they keep their word to keep the customer totally satisfied. The customer displayed images of the frayed ropes and the two damaged carabiners but the only problem is the pictures were not clear and you really cannot tell where the damaged parts were. But the customer seems to be telling the truth about the damaged parts. Why would he lie? The customer says between the customer service of the company and the equipment he sees no point in ordering future hammocks from any other company.
This guy took an extended excursion into some park in Quebec, Canada and it sounded like it was very remote. The party traveled by canoe and backpacking. The first night the customer pulled out the hammock and the parts to the hammock. The customer was missing a carabiner and he set up the hammock. He set his backpack on the hammock and it fell right through the hammock. Some of the nylon on the outer edge had frayed and broke. The stitching was poorly done on the hammock. By this time the customer was totally disgusted and he hoped nobody would get a lousy product as he did. He said he made the mistake of not checking the materials before he left on the trip. He based this decision on all the great reviews and how popular the product was because it was selling at a hot pace. He says he will never assume the product is intact again. He rated the product one star and he said he cannot recommend a lousy product. The company through many reviews reached out to him. He told them his stance and they said to him that he got a defective product.
They apologized for the incident he experienced and they offered him two options. He could either get a full refund and keep the defective hammock or get a brand new hammock for free. He chose to get the replacement hammock and he will test out the new product when it arrives and he will write an updated review. He says the customer service is outstanding and he takes his hat off to the company. He did not upgrade his rating from one-star though.
This product has had over 2500 reviews written about it because it is a good product and the company’s customer service is second to none. They keep their word and they honor their money-back guarantee as they offered it to two customers the same 2 options. They stand behind their word and their product.
Hammock with Mosquito Net and FREE Tree Straps. Lightweight and Strong Ripstop Nylon Perfect for Camping, Backpacking, and Hiking
Benefits and Uses: The company grandly pronounces that the hammock is not a cheap nylon parachute hammock. It is a high-end ripstop nylon hammock ant a reasonable price. How high end can a hammock be that costs under $30.00 dollars? You are ready for your next adventure. It seems like this hammock is designed for camping and not just to leisurely set up in your backyard. The hammock has a mosquito net and free multi-tree straps and carabiners, stuff stack, and net suspension. It is said the hammock was designed by backpackers every part of it was designed by backpackers. The hammock is designed to be set up in minutes as you take the hammock the 10-foot straps and loop them around the trees. Hook the carabiner into one of the 15 loops used to adjust the height of the hammock. You do not have to tie any knots in the set up of the hammock. You will next wrap the suspension for the netting around the tree and you are done.
You can have a good night’s sleep without any bug interference with the bug net. If you go from sleeping in the forest to the beach. Just flip the hammock over and you can sleep without the bug net. What would you tie the hammock to on the beach? The hammock can be used for the beach, survival, kayaking, camping, even bike camping the company claims. The hammock will hold up to 400lbs. of weight (which is 100 lbs. less than the above hammock can hold) and it will fold up to the size of a Nalgene water bottle. The hammock without the extra equipment weighs 15 oz. and with 35oz. which is very light. The company offers a 6-month money back guarantee and each hammock comes with a 6-month warranty. (This warranty is not as good as the warranty offered by the company whose hammock was reviewed directly above this one.) This is two strikes against this company. This hammock is also $3.00 dollars more expensive than the other hammock discussed above. This is U.S. based company.
Feedback: The customer says this is a great hammock for the price and the quality is exceptional. The customer bought 2 carabiners that cost more than the hammock cost. The customer was very impressed by this fact. The hammock is very well put together and the customer says it is easier to use a hammock than a tent when you are backpacking. It is easier to find two trees than level ground to set up the tent on. The customer messed up in positioning himself in the hammock. He slept right on top of the bug net and he thought he would fall through the hammock but he did not. He re-positioned himself into the base of the hammock. He suggests that you wiggle into your sleeping bag instead of using it as a cover while you sleep on the hammock. You will get cold using the sleeping bag as a cover because when it is completely opened it will not reach its temperature rating and you will be very cold. You will end up wiggling into the sleeping back eventually anyway. Why not just do it in the beginning? The customer rates the product 5-stars.
The customer bought the hammock for her niece’s graduation and they went camping the next weekend. The niece is an avid hiker/outdoor person so they went camping. The niece had the hammock put together and she was in it. It also slept two teenagers nicely and it was a great buy and a great value. The customer rated the hammock 5-stars. But a little more detail in the review would be great. Why did the customer give the product 5-stars and how did the hammock work so well? The customer thought the hammock was a good value but she did not explain why it was a good value. The review needs a lot more detail to convince people to buy the hammock. For instance, her niece loves the outdoors and this hammock meets those desires of the niece. So, this would tell us that if you love the outdoors and you are looking for good equipment for the outdoors then this hammock would serve your purpose. These are the kinds of details that are needed to be written that will sell the hammock.
The customer writes that the hammock is great and durable. The customer took it on a canoe trip and it worked well but the weather was nice during the trip which helped. The customer says it was easy to set up and it was nice to be able to flip it over and use the side that did not have the mosquito net. The client was able to pack the hammock nicely into his gear because it was so light and compact. The customer said it was hard to remember to feed the line through the mosquito net and then pack it up. He says it can get cold spots if the weather is bad but I do not why it would be so hard to remember to put the hammock back into its holder. The customer-rated the product 5-stars. There was a little more detail in this review compared to the review written directly above this.
The customer says the hammock he had before he did not what he was doing with it. This one is better than that first one. The customer thinks he lucked out on this hammock and he has slept in it without the mosquito net. He sees the advantage of using the net though. He rated the hammock 5-stars but he does not detail how it worked so well for him. It sounds like he may not feel totally comfortable using the hammock. He needed to include more detail in the review so customers would be motivated to buy the hammock.
Benefits and Uses: This hammock has a superior V-shaped design will give you a better sleep. It is specifically designed and patterned to give you a comfortable slip. The pad wraps around the body to prevent the cold from entering the bottom and sides. The nylon will not tear, resist abrasion if minimal weight is applied but this is not good because if a heavyweight is applied what happens? The pad will work for any hammock and it is lightweight. It has a limited lifetime warranty
Feedback: The customer went camping in the mountains and the nylon material drew condensation like a magnet. The temperature was in the 40’s which is in the usable range of the hammock pad. But by 2:00 a.m. the sleeping bag would be soaked. The client would have to air out the sleeping bag in the morning or the client would have a wet bag to sleep in at night. The nylon pad is hard to roll up and deflate and put it in the cover. You have to squeeze it and then deflate it to put in the cover. You cannot use it by lakes, rivers, creeks, depressions, or in the rain. The customer reached out to the company and the company did not respond to the customer’s request. The customer rated the nylon pad one -star. The company has lousy customer service relations with their customers.
Hyke & Byke Crestone Hammock Compatible Down Sleeping Bag – Innovative Design Combines Underquilt and Top Quilt
Benefits and Uses: The company offers a limited lifetime warranty and they claim over 30,000 customers are using the product. The sleeping bag can be used as a hammock as well. It is a duck down sleeping bag/hammock.
Feedback: The customer rated the product 5-stars and says the hammock is very warm and she loves the blue color. What other reasons has she rated it 5-stars? We need more detail to help convince to buy the product that we cannot live without.
Benefits and Uses: The hammock is made of ripstop nylon and this hammock/sleeping bag costs almost $270.00 which is expensive for a sleeping bag/ hammock. It is even more expensive than the down hammock that was reviewed previously in the article.
Feedback: The product had no customer reviews written about it and this could be because it is not a known product or the hammock is too expensive. This could be a deterrent to buying the sleeping bag/hammock the price tag it is just too expensive to pay for a hammock/sleeping bag.
