A pulldown machine buffers the latissimus Dorsi muscle group. It is a machine that the user grabs a pulley with both hands at pulls it down to lift weights. These weights, in turn, develop the latissmus dorsi muscle group. The user stays in a sitting position while using the pulldown machine. It is a muscle group nestled basically under the armpit near the rib cage area. if you decide to use one of these pulldown machines you must be careful to start at a weight you can handle. If you jump ahead and try and pull too much weight, in the beginning, you could seriously injure your back, maybe separate a shoulder, and tear ligaments in the arms. You must choose a weight level that you can comfortably handle.
