When most people think of white tea, they imagine black tea taken with milk. White tea however isn’t that very English way of taking tea, it’s a particular form of tea with its own distinct properties.
All true tea comes from one plant Camellia Sinensis. From this plant we get black tea, green tea, white tea and the large number of oolong teas. Other ‘teas’ made from herbs and fruits are technically infusions, or as the French call them, tisanes.
