If any essential oil is going to heal wrinkles it must have powerful rejuvenating properties that absorb deep into the skin. There has to be some essential oils out there that help cure wrinkled and keep the skin looking smooth, glowing and fresh looking. The issue is finding which ones will really do the job for the skin. It really doesn’t matter if they are well-known or not just as long as they can deliver healthy-looking skin. Jojoba oil is familiar to most of us and it is one of the most hydrating oils around today. It does it in a non-oily fashion which is always a plus. You don’t want to walk around with oil dripping off your face or clothes. It has so many wonderful ingredients in it for the skin. It contains vitamin E, vitamin B complex, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc. It can even help people who are lacking in iodine-rich foods. It has a very high percentage of oil in it 82 percent to be exact. Iodine gives jojoba oil its ability to heal. And this is why it is so regenerative for the skin.

Our sebaceous glands secrete an oily or waxy substance called sebum which jojoba oil is very similar to. As we age the sebum secretion slows down causing us to have dry skin and itchy hair. In comes jojoba oil it acts like sebum which keeps are skin hydrated and moist which prevents dry, itchy skin. This in turn will slow down the aging process in the skin which will prevent thin lines and wrinkles from developing.

A revealing 2012 study conducted in Germany, found that jojoba oil has the ability to reduce skin lesions and improve the overall health of skin in 194 participants in the study.

It also gives you certain phytonutrients that are supposed to improve cellular communication and will heal the skin.
